Our Staff
We strongly believe in developing life long learners who contribute positively to society. As such our staff model this through ongoing professional development and commitment to the values and beliefs that society expects of us. Staff are heavily involved in the planning and implementing of programmes, the extra-curricular cultural and sporting groups and the establishment of strong community relationships with the families of our school.

Our Board of Trustees
The Board is entrusted to work on behalf of all stakeholders and is accountable for the school's performance. It emphasises strategic leadership, sets the vision for the school and ensures it complies with legal and policy requirements. At Newlands Intermediate, the Board has begun the process of Charter consultation and is working towards setting strategic goals and school visioning. In late 2007 community consultation occurred the results of which will drive the planning. Our Board meetings are held on the third Monday of every month at 7.00pm in the staffroom. Please feel free to join us.
